And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.
There are various passages in the New Testament explaining how a Christian woman should dress.
But also, we read in Proverbs 7:10 that God lets us know that there are clothes a woman can wear that makes her look like a “harlot” (A woman who prostitutes her body for hire; a prostitute; wanton; lewd; low; base. – Websters 1828).
As a Christian woman, how do you dress? Does it please the Lord? Does it honour your father and mother? Does it show respect in a church setting towards your fellow brothers and sisters in the faith? Do you look like the ‘world’ or a new creature in Christ? Are you a good example/testimony/witness of a godly Christian woman to the lost souls that need to be saved?
Outward dress that magnifies the flesh invites unclean spirits. Be careful what you put on. Be careful what image you portray.
